About Us
Established in 2000, AHHA Education is an award-winning non-governmental organisation committed to making quality, holistic education accessible, particularly to disadvantaged children and young people.
Our work is founded on the belief that every individual possesses potential that can be developed through the right education, guidance, and opportunities.
While conventional education often focuses primarily on academic knowledge and qualifications, AHHA Education places equal importance on developing the individual. Our programmes aim to nurture strong character, responsible attitudes, essential life skills, and practical abilities that students can apply throughout their lives.
Over the years, AHHA Education has grown beyond Cambodia, with educational operations also established in Timor-Leste, Laos, and Japan, serving around 15,000 students daily. In total, we have reached more than 250,000 students through our transformative education programs.
To support our schools financially, we have established an administrative arm that manages five accommodation facilities in Kampot. Profits from these businesses directly fund our educational programs across the country. This partnership between our NGO and business group allows us to combine quality hospitality services with meaningful social impact. By volunteering with us, you contribute directly to improving access to quality education and skills training for underprivileged youth in Cambodia.
Our schools in Cambodia and our hospitality projects in Kampot are supported by a vibrant community of passionate volunteers who share a vision of creating positive change. Join us and help make a lasting impact.

Kampot offers many free activities such as walking along the river at sunset, relaxing by the riverbanks, or watching fishing and kayaking. You can explore the town on foot, enjoy colonial buildings, street art, and the old market area. Visiting the Durian Roundabout is popular for photos. You can also hike or cycle through the countryside to see rice fields, salt farms, and mountains, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful riverside atmosphere. As a volunteer you also have your weekends and public holidays off, which leaves quite some time to explore the country during your free time.
