About Us
Volunteering India is a Jaipur‑based, non‑profit volunteer organization that connects caring individuals with grassroots projects in rural Rajasthan, focusing on environment protection, child education, healthcare and community development. All of us have heard much about saving Mother Earth through summits, speeches and articles, but real change begins when each of us says “Myself” and decides to act for the society we live in.
Inspired by the saying “The journey of thousand miles begins with one step”, Volunteering India was started by a small group of people with a burning passion to improve the lives of the downtrodden and neglected around them. Their commitment to making a difference shaped what Volunteering India is today—a platform for volunteers from around the world to turn compassion into action.

Requirements
We welcome volunteers from India and from different countries who are interested in contributing their time, skills, and energy to our community-based projects. Our volunteer programs provide an opportunity to work with children, local communities, women, educational initiatives, and other social development activities. We believe that volunteering should be a meaningful, safe, respectful, and responsible experience for both volunteers and the communities they work with.
Legal Requirements for Participation:
Volunteers are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations during their participation in the program. Volunteers must provide accurate personal information during registration and should carry valid identification documents when required.
International volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, travel documents, passport, insurance, and other personal things.
Volunteer experience
A typical volunteer day begins with a warm welcome and a short orientation about the activities planned for the day. Volunteers are introduced to the local community, project staff, and other volunteers. Depending on the selected program, volunteers may participate in teaching English to children, supporting childcare activities, helping underprivileged or street children, participating in women empowerment activities, or taking part in community development projects.
During the morning session, volunteers usually work directly with the beneficiaries. For example, volunteers involved in teaching may conduct English lessons, educational games, reading activities, and basic learning exercises for children. Volunteers working in childcare or community projects may assist staff with educational, recreational, and awareness activities.
A lunch break is provided during the day, giving volunteers time to relax, interact with other volunteers, and learn more about Indian culture and local life.
€260 per week
