About Us
Medical healthcare is a basic human right, and ensuring access for all is essential. The hospitals and clinics we work with strive to meet this need and can always benefit from additional support.

Why choose us?
Our healthcare placements provide a valuable learning opportunity alongside a rewarding volunteer experience. They offer an international setting where volunteers can observe healthcare in practice and see the direct impact of volunteering in healthcare settings.
Requirements
This project is open to anyone who wants to help make healthcare accessible to underserved communities.
Volunteer experience
Our projects run year-round, with a minimum stay of two weeks and a maximum of one year. Applications should be submitted at least four weeks before travel to allow time for visa processing. Volunteers may stay with a host family or shared volunteer house.
Healthcare placements take place in government-approved hospitals and clinics in Ghana, offering hands-on learning and support in underserved communities. Volunteers may work in departments such as A&E, Pediatrics, Maternity, Pharmacy, Surgery, OPD, and Nursing, assisting or shadowing staff under supervision.
Tasks include basic patient care, ward rounds, patient histories, medication support, administration, and health education activities. Volunteers work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–1:00 pm.
€20 Euros Per Day
You can stay in our volunteer house with up to 16 other volunteers from Europe, America, and Australia, or choose to stay with a local host family.
Yes, we provide three meals a day. A cook at the volunteer house prepares all meals for volunteers. Vegetarian diets and any allergies are taken into account when arranging your placement.
Volunteers get weekends off to explore Ghana, a country rich in culture, festivals, food, art, beaches, castles, national parks, waterfalls, and rainforests. Volunteers experience the country more deeply through local insight and cultural understanding. Weekend trips are often organized, and there are opportunities to travel across Ghana, including both Accra and rural areas.
The program combines travel with meaningful volunteer work, helping you develop skills such as teamwork, communication, and adaptability. It also offers a chance to experience a different culture and way of life. Popular nearby attractions include Cape Coast Castle, Kakum National Park, Nzulezo Stilt Village, beaches, and rainforest areas, all within a few hours of many volunteer locations.
