Volunteer experience
A volunteer can have breakfast around 7:30 AM and walk to school at about 8:00 AM. Teaching takes place from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, after which volunteers return home.
In the afternoon, volunteers may join the community library activities from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dinner is served at the host family around 8:00 PM.
€15 Euro Per Day
Normally, our volunteers stay with host families where they gain real-life experience living with local people, learning about the culture, and participating in cultural exchange while also sharing different skills.
We provide two meals per day: breakfast and dinner.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to try traditional Tanzanian dishes such as rice, cooked bananas, chapati, vegetables, and beans.
During the weekend, volunteers have the opportunity to visit different places such as national parks, hot springs, waterfalls, Maasai cultural sites, hiking trails, and Zanzibar Island.
