About Us
We are Francis and Juma, two friends from different backgrounds brought together by a shared passion for education and community development. Francis is originally from Malawi, while Juma is from the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Together, we manage a community based organisation in Zanzibar dedicated to empowering children and improving access to education.
Our work focuses on supporting children's education through our kindergarten, English classes and computer classes. We believe every child deserves an opportunity to learn, develop new skills and build a brighter future.
We are passionate about creating opportunities for children in our community, and we welcome international volunteers who share the same vision. We believe that everyone has something valuable to share, regardless of their background or professional experience.
By joining us, you become part of our small community family. You will have the opportunity to interact with local children, exchange cultures, share ideas, make new friendships and experience everyday life in Zanzibar.
We also believe volunteering should leave you with enough time to enjoy your destination. That's why our volunteers only help for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week, giving you plenty of free time to explore the beautiful island of Zanzibar, enjoy its beaches, discover local attractions and experience our culture.
We look forward to welcoming you, sharing experiences and making a difference together!

Our volunteer house is more than just a place to stay; it's a home away from home! We believe in creating a warm, friendly and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable, included and part of one big family.
We offer two types of accommodation: **private rooms and shared hostel-style rooms**. Depending on the number of volunteers staying with us at the time of your arrival, you may be accommodated in either a private room or a shared room with other volunteers.
Our aim is to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable while giving you the opportunity to connect with other volunteers, share experiences, make new friends and feel at home during your time in Zanzibar.
