- To build community members as human resources, especially children and women from marginalized communities.

- To build people’s organizations and support leadership development, and develop community-owned and managed institutions to sustain livelihood activities.

- To establish stronger communities by increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
- To create safe homes through Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Response programs.
- To address climate change and promote sustainable resource management to improve people’s lives and livelihoods.
- To develop community-based models for natural resource management to protect and use resources for sustainable development.
- To work in collaboration with government, industry, and both national and international development organizations.
