Groups are responsible for ensuring that members have valid travel documents, meet Ghana's entry requirements, and arrange suitable travel insurance and health preparations. No specific professional qualification is required for general cultural activities or non-specialist volunteering.
Volunteer experience
The daily schedule depends on the group's selected itinerary. Activities may begin with breakfast and a briefing before visiting a community project, participating in an approved volunteering activity, or meeting local residents. Later, the group may explore cultural landmarks, historical sites, local markets, natural attractions, or traditional food experiences.
Some days focus on community engagement, while others are dedicated to sightseeing and travel. The schedule, travel time, and activities are agreed upon in advance and may change due to weather, access, or local conditions.
