About Us
Raksha Foundation is a Bengaluru-based non-profit organisation established in 2019, working to empower underserved communities through education, skill development, employment, and social development.
At our Magadi Road centre, we conduct skill development and employability programmes, particularly for women and youth. Our work includes practical training, career guidance, employment support, digital learning, livelihood development, child well-being, health and hygiene, nutrition, environmental awareness, human rights, and community development.
We believe everyone deserves an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future. Volunteers play an important role by contributing their time, skills, ideas, and participation to strengthen our community programmes and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Why choose us?
Raksha Foundation is seeking volunteers to strengthen its social media presence and digital storytelling. Although we actively work with underserved communities in Bengaluru, we aim to improve our digital communication to showcase our impact and reach more volunteers, donors, CSR partners, and supporters.
Volunteers with skills in social media management, content creation, graphic design, photography, videography, storytelling, and digital marketing can gain hands-on experience while helping professionally showcase our work in skill development, women’s empowerment, education, livelihoods, child well-being, and community development. Together, we can amplify community voices, expand our digital reach, and create greater social impact.
Requirements
Raksha Foundation welcomes volunteers to support its free computer and digital skills training programmes for children, youth, and underserved communities. Volunteers with knowledge of basic computer skills, digital literacy, digital marketing, AI tools, graphic design, and emerging technologies can teach and mentor learners through regular or short-term sessions.
Volunteers can also contribute through content creation, social media, digital marketing, and awareness activities. Support with essential learning resources such as desktop computers, laptops, tables, chairs, and other training materials is also welcomed. Your time, skills, and support can help learners develop practical digital skills for education, employment, and future opportunities.
Volunteer experience
A typical volunteer day at Raksha Foundation combines teaching, community interaction, and digital activities. Volunteers begin by interacting with the team and learners before supporting computer and digital skills training. Depending on their interests and expertise, they may teach basic computer skills, digital marketing, AI tools, communication skills, or other employability-focused topics.
Volunteers can also contribute to social media content, photography, documentation, awareness activities, and community outreach. Throughout the day, they work closely with staff and learners, share their knowledge, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and aspirations of the communities we serve.
The schedule is flexible and can be adapted to the volunteer’s skills, availability, and programme requirements. The day concludes with feedback and discussion with the team to review progress and plan upcoming activities. Every day is an opportunity to learn, teach, connect, and make a difference.
