About Us

Berean Community Hand of Faith Ltd is a faith-based, non-profit organization in Uganda focused on community support and Christian ministry. Founded in January 2025 and registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, it aims to promote Christian living while supporting vulnerable groups, especially children in need such as orphans, abandoned children, children of incarcerated parents, and those with health or social challenges.

We also support elderly people and caregivers, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable community members.

Our work includes medical referrals, psychosocial support, education assistance, livelihood empowerment, community outreach, workshops, pastoral care, counseling, and elderly companionship.

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers may engage in:

Children and community ministry (Bible stories, prayer groups, Sunday school, outreach)
Mentoring and education support (tutoring, life skills, recreation activities)
Community outreach programs and events
Elderly care and companionship
Administration support (data entry, communication, fundraising, sponsorship work)
Expectations

Volunteers work closely with local staff in hands-on roles, respecting local culture and adapting to a grassroots environment. Observation alone is not the focus—active participation is encouraged.

Volunteers receive free accommodation, three daily meals (local food), and free internet access.

Why choose us?

Berean Community Hand of Faith Ltd is a faith-based organization committed to transforming lives through compassion, service, and community support. Guided by Christian values, we serve with love, humility, and integrity while supporting vulnerable children, elderly individuals, caregivers, and families facing hardship.

Our programs focus on child welfare, education support, psychosocial well-being, and community care, aiming for long-term transformation rather than short-term aid.

Volunteers are active participants who gain hands-on experience, cultural understanding, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact alongside local leaders and communities.

We take a holistic approach by addressing spiritual, emotional, educational, and practical needs, helping individuals and families build resilience, hope, and self-reliance.

We value transparency, accountability, cultural exchange, and mutual learning, creating an environment where volunteers can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually while making a positive difference.
