About Us

Gaia Ashram is a tropical permaculture farm and learning centre in North-Eastern Thailand, set on 6 hectares of land developed using deep ecology, permaculture, and ecovillage design principles.

We believe all living beings are part of one interconnected family and that every being has a role in sustaining the web of life. Gaia Ashram aims to be a place where people can live more holistically, learn from nature, and experience the interconnectedness of all life while practicing sustainable ways of living.

Why choose us?

At Gaia Ashram, we aim to live holistically using ecovillage and permaculture principles. Volunteers work alongside our community to learn and practice land regeneration through agroforestry, organic and natural farming, regenerative agriculture, and permaculture.

You can gain hands-on experience growing food, caring for the land, and developing sustainable systems. We also explore natural building techniques and alternative energy, making Gaia Ashram a unique opportunity to learn practical skills for a more sustainable way of living.

We welcome volunteers from around the world to live, work, and learn together in our community. No prior experience is required, and beginners are welcome. Volunteers should be willing to participate in physical or educational tasks according to their abilities.

Volunteers must have a valid visa to enter Thailand and comply with the permitted stay duration.
