Requirements

- Valid Travel Documents: Volunteers should have a valid passport and the appropriate visa or travel authorization

- Skills: No specific skills or prior experience are required

- Dietary Requirements: Volunteers should inform us of their dietary preferences or requirements in advance. Meals can be prepared according to their needs where possible

Volunteers start their day with breakfast before meeting with the duty teacher to plan the day’s activities. The activities are arranged according to the volunteer’s skills, interests, and the needs of the school and students.

Free

Volunteers are provided with private accommodation at the school, which can accommodate up to four volunteers. We provide a friendly and supportive environment to help volunteers settle in comfortably and adapt to life in Uganda.

Volunteers are provided with three meals a day. Upon arrival, they can share their dietary preferences and the types of food they usually eat, and meals will be prepared accordingly where possible.

During their free time, volunteers can explore the local community, experience Ugandan culture, and learn about different traditions and ways of life. They can also take walks and tour the surrounding community to discover local places and interact with residents.
