Requirements
Volunteers should:
- Be willing to volunteer and contribute positively to the community
- Have a genuine interest in education and community development
- Be respectful, open-minded, and willing to work as part of a team
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Respect local culture, customs, and the organisation's guidelines
Volunteer experience
Volunteers typically contribute 1–2 hours per day or per week, depending on the programme, project requirements, and their availability. During this time, they support ongoing educational and community initiatives while working alongside the Mission Learning team.
There is no programme fee to volunteer with Mission Learning. Volunteers contribute their time and skills to support the organisation's educational and community programmes.
Mission Learning does not provide accommodation as part of the volunteer programme. Volunteers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own accommodation throughout their placement.
Meal arrangements depend on the volunteer programme and placement. Volunteers are generally responsible for their own meals unless otherwise agreed with the project team.
Volunteers are welcome to support Mission Learning in their free time by contributing to ongoing educational and community programmes. Depending on their interests and availability, they may:
- Assist with educational activities and mentoring
- Support community outreach initiatives
- Help create learning materials or digital content
- Share professional skills with the team
- Participate in team meetings and networking opportunities
- Explore the local community and culture
- Build meaningful connections with fellow volunteers and community members
