Why choose us?
We choose to offer meaningful volunteer opportunities and to seek sustainable solutions in education, health, conservation, and development issues through volunteering. We hope to achieve this goal by offering community-oriented volunteer programs where the efforts of volunteers go directly to underprivileged people and their communities, including library and sponsorship programs.
Requirements
Volunteers must be between 18 and 70 years old. We do not have any specific requirements, other than a genuine desire to help Nepali communities and people.
Volunteer experience
Usually, schools, local organizations/clubs, women’s groups, and health posts are located within easy distance, and volunteers will be required to teach 3–4 classes each day. Generally, the school or organization runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and operates six days a week, with Saturday as a holiday. On this day, volunteers can gather and share their experiences. They may also travel to nearby towns to purchase daily necessities or explore other areas during longer breaks.
In addition to teaching hours, volunteers can use their free time to organize youth and women’s groups in the community and carry out meaningful activities such as raising awareness about the reduction of plastic use and promoting income-generating programs.

Volunteers will stay with a typical Nepalese host family. Each volunteer will have a separate room with a simple bed. Bathroom and toilet facilities will be shared with the host family.
The host family offers Nepalese food, including dal bhat (rice, lentil soup, and vegetables) twice a day, along with tea and local snacks. Volunteers can also learn to cook Nepalese dishes and share their own continental recipes.
The free time allows volunteers to spend quality time with community members, go sightseeing, explore the surrounding areas, go hiking, enjoy jungle safaris, trekking, and other activities.
