Volunteering at Surfing for Dreams: Pietra’s Experience in South Africa (Surfing for Dreams)

Being a volunteer at the Surfing for Dreams project was quite an experience. 

More than just giving my time, I had the opportunity to share happy moments, affection and learning experiences with each of them.

The sincere smiles, the energy, the kindness and the love I received touched my heart in a way that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I leave this experience with my heart full of gratitude and the certainty that I, too, have been transformed. 

Spending time with these children, taught me even more about empathy, love, and the importance of small gestures. I’m deeply grateful to have been part of this project. Thank you!
