The Cape Nature Conservation project is based in a 250-hectare nature reserve in Cape Town, encompassing wetlands, an estuary, beaches, and endangered habitats that support a rich diversity of plants and wildlife. The reserve is home to hundreds of plant species, as well as a wide variety of birds, fish, reptiles, mammals, and amphibians. It also plays a vital role in protecting several endangered fish species. The project focuses on maintaining, restoring, and improving the ecological health and infrastructure of the reserve, with conservation efforts benefiting both flora and fauna. Environmental education is also a key component of the project, with volunteers helping to raise ecological awareness through educational programs at local schools. Relief and Development Support Organization (RDSO) is a national non-governmental organization (NNGO) recognized by RGB under No. 000356/RGB/NGO/LP/04/2026. It operates in the Eastern Province, Kayonza District, Mukarange Sector, and can scale up its activities to any other district. Its mission is to empower vulnerable youth, women, and poor families to achieve improved and decent livelihoods. Since its inception in August 2022, RDSO has been involved in paying medical insurance fees for the most vulnerable people, providing support to people facing human security challenges, constructing gardens for teenage mothers and villagers, purchasing sports equipment for schools, providing school feeding for underprivileged students along with scholastic materials, distributing goats to those in need, offering training to youth, students, and teachers on financial and digital literacy, and providing emergency funds where needed.

Accommodation is provided in a safe, earthquake-resistant volunteer house built with Korean technology, offering a comfortable communal living space that encourages international friendship. The program is set in the stunning landscape of the Mansiri Himal range, with views of Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Ngadi Chuli. Weekends are free for exploration and relaxation, including hikes to nearby viewpoints, visits to waterfalls and hot springs, yoga in nature, or swimming in the Marshyangdi River. This program offers a balanced mix of cultural immersion, adventure, and community development, creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories.
Started as a free school to provide education to village children in 2015, the program expanded its approach to include organic agriculture, animal husbandry, and a platform for volunteering to share knowledge and experience, and more importantly, contribute to sustainability.
